To excel as a Business Analyst - Wealth and Investment Operations, you will bring substantial experience working with custodian-sourced data in the context of wealth or asset management. Your background will include hands-on involvement in ETL processes where you have successfully navigated complex dependencies between external files and internal systems.

As a Business Analyst - Wealth and Investment Operations, you will immerse yourself in the critical task of integrating complex custodian data into core business systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure that every piece of incoming information is accurately mapped, validated, and utilised effectively. You will facilitate workshops to capture detailed requirements, document processes meticulously, and support ongoing process optimisation efforts.

Experience required;

• Map incoming data files from custodians into source systems, ensuring all dependencies are accurately identified and addressed throughout the ETL process.
• Translate external data formats into internal structures by understanding what each data point means and how it should be mapped within the organisation's systems.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements, ensuring all perspectives are considered and documented clearly.
• Write comprehensive requirements documentation that serves as a foundation for system enhancements and process improvements.
• Validate data flows through trial-and-error testing, identifying issues early and working collaboratively to resolve them efficiently.
• Support process mapping initiatives by analysing current workflows and recommending optimisations that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as MIFID by correctly categorising payment types and maintaining robust audit trails.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by sharing insights gained from hands-on experience with data validation and system integration.
