Business Analyst - Support Strategic System Transformation Across BDMC, HR & Finance

I am currently recruiting for an exciting Business Analyst opportunity within a top-tier law firm known for innovation, excellence, and a collaborative culture. This role will support a wide-reaching transformation programme across Business Development, Marketing & Communications (BDMC), Human Resources, and Finance, playing a critical role in analysing processes, gathering requirements, and supporting the implementation of best-fit technology solutions.

• Strategic Projects: Help shape the firm’s next-generation CRM, HR, and Finance platforms—including CRM modernisation, HR system renewal, and a key move to Aderant’s Sierra cloud platform.

• Cross-Departmental Impact: Work directly with senior stakeholders across BDMC, HR, and Finance to identify, map, and prioritise improvements.

• High Visibility: Play a vital part in a technology-led transformation programme at a firm that values innovation and people-centric delivery.

• Lead requirements gathering through workshops and stakeholder interviews, translating needs into clear documentation.

• Map current vs future state processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for system and process improvements.

• Conduct vendor assessments, manage RFP processes, facilitate demos, and build scoring frameworks to support selection.

• Translate functional requirements into actionable roadmaps and delivery plans.

• Collaborate with internal Technology and Procurement teams to ensure both technical and commercial alignment.

• Support planning and migration strategy for Finance’s transition to Aderant Sierra/Stirdyn cloud.

• Strong business analysis experience, including process mapping, documentation, and solution scoping.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with an ability to extract and refine detailed business requirements.

• Understanding of CRM systems and HR platforms, ideally with vendor evaluation experience.

• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and cross-functional delivery.

• Proficiency in presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

• Proactive, productive, and solutions-focused.

• Personable and able to build strong, trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.

• Calm under pressure, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Clear, concise communicator with excellent documentation skills.
