We're on the lookout for a dynamic Business Controller / Management Accountant to support Airbus Operations Limited - a £4bn turnover business at the forefront of aerospace innovation.

This is more than just a numbers role. You'll be a key player in shaping financial strategy, influencing operational decisions, and delivering insights that matter.

What You'll Be Doing

• ? Lead Financial Planning: Support annual budgets and quarterly forecasts across all business units, ensuring alignment with Airbus' strategic goals.
• ?? Drive Improvement Projects: Collaborate with operational managers to identify and validate impactful projects, building strong business cases and ROI assessments.
• ?? Deliver Insightful Reporting: Provide timely, accurate financial reports to both local and central teams, highlighting performance and flagging risks early.
• ?? Be a Trusted Advisor: Challenge the status quo, support decision-making, and help drive financial performance through proactive analysis and recommendations.
• ??? Control Key Cost Areas: Oversee recurring costs, inventory, non-recurring costs, and capital expenditure (Capex) as needed.

What We're Looking For

• ? Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience in a manufacturing or commercial setting
• ? SAP or similar ERP experience - you're confident navigating financial systems
• ? Analytical mindset - you love solving problems and making processes leaner
• ? Strong communicator - able to engage with stakeholders across levels and countries
• ? Team player - enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to make a difference
• ? Continuous improvement focus - always looking for smarter ways to work
