Are you a dynamic and organised professional with a passion for community development and placemaking? The London Borough of Haringey is looking for an experienced Business Manager (PO5) to join their Placemaking & Community Development team on an interim basis.

This pivotal role will provide high-level business management and administrative support across a range of services, including:

• Business Engagement

• Local Economy

• Haringey Learns

• Haringey Works

• Placemaking projects in Tottenham and Wood Green

You will work closely with the Head of Inclusive Economy and the Head of Placemaking, ensuring the effective delivery of the Inclusive Economy Service Plan and contributing to exciting local initiatives that support economic and community growth.

• Ensure smooth operational delivery and high-quality support across service areas.

• Oversee business processes, financial management, and project governance.

• Engage and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, council members, and external funders.

• Promote best practice in project management, administration, and reporting.

• Lead and support strategic boards to help drive forward corporate objectives.

• Strong experience in business operations, ideally within local government or public sector settings.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, lead administrative functions, and drive efficiency.

• Confident working in a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment.
