Job Description - Business Support Officer

Are you highly organised, proactive, and great at keeping people on track?

** Immediate Start **

We’re looking for a Business Support Officer to join our team and work closely with our business development team in co-ordinating the paperwork, timelines, and communication that go into winning work through tenders.

About the Role


We tender for work across multiple sectors and need someone to manage the coordination behind each submission working alongside the internal BD team.

You’ll be the go-to person for gathering information, collating all the timeframes/documentations around the tenders, and making sure everything is submitted on time through a variety of portals. You’ll also keep internal teams informed, aligned, and moving in the right direction.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate all paperwork and information required for tenders, updating the project list to ensure deadlines are meet
  • Set and manage timelines to ensure all deadlines are met, through management of diaries within the BDM calendars
  • Plan future applications and bids, managing diaries with a proactive approach
  • Complete the internal compliance documentation and requirements for each individual tender
  • Maintain accurate records of tender progress and documentation daily, updating internal records and data.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience of all Microsoft packages, basic online software and possibly portal experience
  • Confidence in working across teams and chasing down information
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Experience in a support, admin, or coordination role (tender experience a bonus)
