Job Description - C1 Driver 7.5t

C1 (7.5t) Driver – Darnley

We are looking for reliable and professional C1/7.5t drivers to join our team at Darnley in Glasgow. We have two exciting positions available with competitive pay rates and flexible schedules.

Pay Rates
Standard: £12.50 - £13.01
Overtime: £18.75 - £19.52
Saturday: £18.75 - £19.52
Sunday: £25.00 - £26.02
Bank Holidays: £25.00 - £26.02

Available Positions x2

Full-Time Role
Schedule: Monday – Friday, with alternating Saturdays
Start Time: 11:00 AM

Full-Time Role
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Start Time: 09:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a 7.5t (C1) vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks.
  • Adhere to all relevant driving regulations and company policies.
  • Accurately complete any required paperwork or delivery documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections.
Requirements
  • Valid C1 licence (7.5t) with no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or IN codes).
  • Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive work ethic.
  • Previous experience driving 7.5t vehicles is preferred.
