CAD Technician

We are currently looking for a CAD Technician. You will be working in Manchester

Monday - Friday

09:00am - 17:00pm

Temp Contract

Pay rate - £35ph umbrella

Job Purpose

• The role holder will support the delivery of a range of technical projects, initiatives or work packages that comply with relevant legislation and help achieve the corporate aims and objectives
• The role holder will use their technical knowledge and expertise to develop, design and implement customer-focused solutions for the assigned service area. They will act as a key member of the team and will ensure high standards of customer service and service delivery.

Main Duties

• Designing and / or approving appropriate traffic calming and / or Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) schemes based on current design guidance and legislation.
• Using AutoCAD to produce detailed plans, sections, and elevations for highway projects.
• Checking drawings for errors and inconsistencies, and ensuring they meet relevant standards and specifications.
• Collaborating with engineers, designers, and other team members to develop and refine designs.
• Contributing to the collection of survey data and site information.
• Keeping accurate records of drawings, revisions, and other project-related information.
• Participating in project meetings and providing technical input.
