Job Title: Café Manager

Location: Brierley Hill

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Hours: Thursdays & Fridays, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (with potential for more days)

We're looking for a proactive and passionate Café Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our community café. Starting with Thursdays and Fridays, this role offers the opportunity to expand your hours and responsibilities as the café grows. You'll be responsible for overseeing service, managing staff and volunteers, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers.

• Oversee daily café operations, ensuring high standards of food, drink, and customer service
• Manage and support café staff and volunteers
• Plan and coordinate catering for events and community functions
• Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with regulations
• Handle stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Open and close the café, including cash handling and reporting
• Contribute to the development of new menu items and promotions

• Proven experience in a café, hospitality, or catering management role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for community engagement and customer service
• Flexibility to grow with the role and take on additional hours
