Band 7 CAMHS Nurse – Coventry (Agency Contract)
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Contract Type: Agency (Part-Time – 3 Days per Week, Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: £31 per hour Ltd (Umbrella) / £24.85 per hour PAYE (excluding holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Band 7 CAMHS Nurse to join a well-established NHS service in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mental health professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, young people, and their families.

Role Overview: As a CAMHS Nurse, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality mental health care. You will be responsible for conducting initial assessments with children and young people referred to the service, working collaboratively with families and professionals to develop effective care plans.

You will also provide consultation, liaison, and advice to multi-agency staff, ensuring a coordinated and holistic approach to mental health support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents
• Engage creatively with young people and families to co-produce care plans
• Liaise with schools, social care, and other professionals to ensure integrated support
• Provide expert consultation and advice to external agencies
• Manage complex cases and contribute to multi-disciplinary team (MDT) discussions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development

Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in CAMHS or relevant mental health settings
• Strong assessment, care planning, and risk management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Enhanced DBS (can be processed by Service Care if needed)
