• Job Title: Band 7 CPN or Social Worker - CAMHS

• Location: West Midlands

• Duration: 3-month ongoing contract

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children and adolescents. You will:

• Deliver assessments and interventions for children and young people with complex mental health needs

• Manage a caseload of service users aged 0-18

• Provide care coordination and contribute to MDT planning

• Liaise with families, schools, and external agencies

• Complete accurate and timely documentation using the CareNotes system

• Support clinical meetings, reviews, and safeguarding planning

• Offer consultation and support to partner agencies

• Current and valid NMC registration (RMN) or Social Work England registration

• Experience working in CAMHS settings

• Strong understanding of child development, risk management, and safeguarding

• Confidence using CareNotes (essential)

• Excellent communication and caseload management skills

• Must be a car driver with access to a vehicle

• Ability to work both independently and within a wider MDT

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The contract is 3 months ongoing, with a strong likelihood of extension depending on performance and service need. There may be some flexibility for part-remote working, depending on the needs of the team.
