Caretaker

Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
Pay: £14 - £18 per hour (dependent on experience)

REED is excited to support a secondary school in Boston, Lincolnshire, in their search for a dedicated and experienced caretaker to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the school premises are well-maintained and secure.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Oversee the cleanliness and safety of the school environment.
• Manage site security, including opening and closing the premises.
• Coordinate with external contractors for larger maintenance tasks.
• Support the school staff with various site-related tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a caretaker or site supervisor, ideally within an educational or similar environment.
• Strong practical skills in maintenance and repairs.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive and reliable approach to work.
