Caretaker

Location: Ealing, London
Job Type: Long-term contract (with potential to become permanent)
Start Date: Within the next couple of weeks
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours:

• Term time: 1:00pm - 7:00pm (includes locking up)

• Summer period: 10:00am - 4:00pm

• Flexibility required in July to cover additional hours (to be discussed)

We're looking for a reliable, flexible Caretaker to join a friendly and supportive school in Ealing. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a school community. The role involves maintaining the premises, ensuring the site is clean, safe and secure, and communicating effectively with both staff and students.

• General caretaking and site maintenance duties

• Locking and securing the premises each evening

• Assisting with minor repairs and health & safety checks

• Liaising with school staff and pupils as required

• Being available for additional hours during July to cover annual leave

• Able to communicate clearly with both adults and children

• Previous experience as a caretaker or premises manager

• Ideally a driver or local to the Ealing area

• Dependable, flexible, and proactive
