About Us:
Remedy is a specialist recruitment agency working with schools across London. We are currently looking for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a secondary school in East London on a full-time, long-term basis.

Job Overview:
As a School Caretaker, you will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, clean, and well maintained. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who takes pride in their work and is happy to get stuck in with a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and closing the school each day

• Carrying out basic repairs and general maintenance

• Ensuring the school is clean, safe, and tidy

• Managing deliveries and maintaining stock of supplies

• Reporting any major issues to the site manager or leadership team

• Ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a School Caretaker or in a similar maintenance role

• A proactive, can-do attitude and strong sense of responsibility

• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
