Full time hours across full year

Monday to Thursday 10am - 6.30pm

Friday 10am - 6pm

We are recruiting for a superb educational client based in Cheadle who are seeking a friendly professional team focused Caretaker and Site Manager for their team for this permanent role.

The role will be recruited temporary to permanent with weekly pay for first 12 weeks via Adecco.

The ideal candidate will be looking to work full time - no split shifts - and have the following skills:

- DIY skills

Role involves maintenance, DIY such as putting up shelbves, fixing units as required in kitchen areas and bathrooms and painting light areas on occasion

- cleaning skills

The team have a dedicated team of cleaning staff who do a very good job but during the day there will be ad hoc cleaning and deep cleans as required on occasion

- keyholder duties

Alarm checks, emergency lighting checks, walk throughs to check all doors and windows locked

Locking up in evening and ensuring safeguarding processes followed for all parents, visitors and external visits - full training given

The role is temporary to permanent and the ideal candidate will be:

- professional and friendly in approach

- able to carry out DIY and site maintenance and be a natural problem solver when needed and organise repairmen if needed
