Location: Stoke on Trent

Workings hours: Monday to Friday 5:30am - 1:30pm

Rate of pay: £13.77ph

We are looking for an experienced ceramics operative who thrives in a hands-on environment and takes pride in creating high-quality ceramic pieces.

As a Caster, you'll be at the heart of a production line, engaging in a variety of exciting tasks including:

• Selecting and preparing moulds
• Preparing clay slip to the right consistency
• Pouring slip into the mould
• Carefully removing cast pieces from the moulds after they've set
• Inspecting cast pieces for any defects
• Maintaining an organised and safe working environment

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience within casting or a similar role
• A keen eye for detail to ensure consistent quality in casting and finishing.
• Ability to work with tools and handle delicate ceramic pieces with care.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
