Catering & Patisserie Lecturer

• Hourly rate: £30 per hour

• Job Type: Full-time - Temporary contract (Potential Opportunity going Permanent)

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Catering/Patisserie Lecturer to join our outstanding college in Walthamstow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone committed to making a positive impact on students and helping them unlock their full potential in the field of catering and patisserie.

• Teach up to Level 3 catering/patisserie courses.
• Assess student work and track their achievement throughout the course.
• Perform general curriculum-related administrative tasks.
• Engage with students to inspire and motivate them in their culinary and patisserie pursuits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry to ensure the relevance and freshness of course content.

• At least 2 years’ experience in the relevant vocational area of catering or patisserie.
• Level 2 (or above) qualification in English and Maths.
• Holds a recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven teaching or training experience in a similar educational setting.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex concepts to students.
