Our leading Facilities Management client is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the team in Cardiff (CF11 9XB) Working at a local office, you will support the kitchen staff with the preparation of food and drinks

Overview

• Monday to Friday 12pm to 6:30pm
• Overtime available if required
• PAY RATE: £11.44 + Holiday (weekly pay) + Pension
• Temp contract - Potential for permanent position for the right candidate
• Full training provided
• Excellent working environment / Team

Duties include:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of catering areas
• Set up and clear tables and dining areas
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs
• Monitor food stock levels and report shortages or wastage
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Help with the transportation and delivery of catering items to events
• Support the kitchen staff with food preparation tasks
• Handle cash transactions and process payments when required
• Maintain equipment and report any faults or damages
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering events and functions
• Follow company procedures and policies for service delivery

Experience needed:

• Customer service skills
• Hard working and reliable
• Immediate to start
• Reliable and committed
• Updated DBS issued within the last 12 months.
• Level 2 Food Certificate
