Chemistry/ QC Document Writer - 12 Month Contract

The Chemistry and QC document writer is responsible for updating manufacturing and QC documents to reflect current process, specifications and testing parameters, working closely with both the Chemistry and Quality Control teams. They are also responsible for managing the coordination of changes through the change control process in conjunction with the QA team and support the day-to-day progression of Project Iceman to agreed timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the updating or creation of manufacturing and quality documentation in line with project and / or business requirements.
• Identify barriers and propose action plan to maintain / recover timelines.
• Utilising current templates update manufacturing documentation to reflect current process working with the Chemistry team.
• Create / update QCS to reflect current quality specification, working in conjunction with the Quality Control team.
• Ensure sufficient training / checks are in place to deliver RFT for all submitted documentation.
• Arrange and coordinate the review and approval of completed documentation with the review team.
• Coordinate change control, working with the QA team to manage the timely release of documents.
• Manage Iceman DMS, update to project status (Asana).
• Update and maintain Iceman production schedule.
• Maintain progress trackers, providing weekly updates, escalate deviation to plan as required.

Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills

• BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry or previous experience in a similar field.
