Child and Family Help Practitioner
Duration: Initially 3 months Hours: 36 hours per week Rate: £26 umbrella an hour (£21 PAYE an hour)
Achieving For Children are looking for a Child and Family Help Practitioner to join their Social Care and Early Help Directorate.
Responsibilities:
Focusing on supporting children, young people and families who need targeted early help as well as more specialist interventions, including work with children in need.
The aim of the service is to help prevent an escalation of more serious concerns and referrals into Child Protection services.
Work with children and families in either Richmond or Kingston boroughs within both the early help and statutory frameworks
Deliver high quality interventions aligned with assessment, planning and intervention framework and London Safeguarding Procedures
Plan, coordinate and deliver targeted support for families
Conduct comprehensive whole family assessments, maintain clear professional boundaries, establish realist goals with families, and meticulously record all interventions
Requirements:
GCSE Grade A-C in English Language and Mathematics
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience of working with children or young people
