Job Description - Childcare Paralegal

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a grown local authority based in Merseyside who are seeking a Childcare Paralegal to join their team.

This role pays a competitive rate of:
Umbrella rate - £17ph – 19ph umbrella depending on experience.
PAYE (inc.Hol) - £15.48 - £17.24ph depending on experience

This role is on a Hybrid basis and on a 5-month contract with potential to extend.

Responsibilities as a Childcare Paralegal:
  • To provide assistance to the solicitor dealing with the case
  • Support the children’s case transfer process and inform accepting team of any upcoming filing dates and court hearings in order to prevent delay.
  • Dealing with caseload from start to completion regarding childcare law
About you as a Childcare Paralegal:
  • Experience of a familiarity with legal documentation and language and of drafting the same
  • Experience of drafting letters and reports
  • Experience of attending court with counsel and taking notes of hearings
