Job Description - Childcare Paralegal

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a grown local authority based in Merseyside who are seeking a Childcare Paralegal to join their team.

This role pays a competitive rate of:
Umbrella rate - £17ph – 19ph umbrella depending on experience.
PAYE (inc.Hol) - £15.48 - £17.24ph depending on experience

This role is on a Hybrid basis and on a 5-month contract with potential to extend.

Responsibilities as a Childcare Paralegal:

To provide assistance to the solicitor dealing with the case
Support the children’s case transfer process and inform accepting team of any upcoming filing dates and court hearings in order to prevent delay.
Dealing with caseload from start to completion regarding childcare law

About you as a Childcare Paralegal:

Experience of a familiarity with legal documentation and language and of drafting the same
Experience of drafting letters and reports
Experience of attending court with counsel and taking notes of hearings
