Children Assistant Team Manager Qualified

• Oversee the screening and prioritisation of incoming contacts to ensure timely, proportionate responses to concerns about children and families

• Support staff in developing clear and appropriate initial plans that promote child safety and wellbeing

• Provide guidance on safeguarding decisions and ensure urgent risks are escalated and addressed effectively

• Work closely with partner agencies to gather relevant information and coordinate early responses

• Promote a culture where the child's voice is considered from the first point of contact

• Monitor workflow and case progression to support effective decision-making and early intervention

• Ensure the team's practice aligns with legal frameworks, local procedures and best practice standards

Requirements:

• 2 years experience post qualification
• Action safeguarding procedures
