Location: East Midlands
Pay: £30 per hour

We have a fabulous opportunity for two child focused, passionate and experienced Registered Managers to join our new children’s residential service in East Midland. Whether you are currently a Deputy Manager or Team Leader in a Children’s Home, or an experienced Registered Manager looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you. The agency worker Team Manager would be expected to manage all the day-to-day running of the home, the children’s care plans, managing the staff, completing supervisions with the staff, working on-call, covering the rota and ensuring that the home safely running a 24/7 service. All on site working, full time hours.

• The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and bank holidays.
• Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, when enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for bank holiday working.

You will lead and inspire a committed staff team, to create a home that is not only safe and comfortable, but one that truly feels like home for our children; a home where staff go above and beyond and our children are made to feel important.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• OFSTED Registration as a Residential Care Manager, OR significant experience working in a residential children’s care home to secure OFSTED Registration as a Residential Care Manager within 6 months of appointment
• Level 5 Diploma Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Young people’s services (or equivalent) OR commitment to successfully complete within 3 years of appointment.
• Experience of managing/leading a team within a residential Childrens home setting.
• A sound knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, including The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
• The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships and work collaboratively with a range of agencies
• The tenacity and resilience required to drive forward continuous improvement to deliver the exceptional care our children and young people deserve.

• Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check including a check against the Childrens Barred List.
