Setting: Specialist Day and Residential Shool

Location: Ribchester, Preston

Contract: Temp to perm

Shifts: Days, Waking Nights, Weekends

Rates: Basic - £17p/h (Enhanced rates for waking nights/weekends)

We are recruiting a number of Childrens Support Worker for our clients Specialist day and residential School on a temporary basis initially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care and support to children and young people with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
• Support pupils with personal care, communication, and social skills development.
• Assist with educational activities, therapy sessions, and life skills programmes.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on pupil progress and incidents.
• Promote a safe, nurturing environment that encourages independence and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to meet individual care plans.

Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with autism, learning disabilities, or complex needs (desirable but not essential).
• Compassionate, patient, and resilient with a genuine passion for working with children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
