Senior Practitioner - Children in Care & Care Leavers - Make a Lasting Impact

Newcastle City Council's Children in Care and Care Leavers Team is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Practitioner to provide high-quality support and advocacy. You'll play a vital role in ensuring children in care have the best possible chance to thrive, and support care leavers as they transition to independence.

> Responsibilities:
> * Provide high-quality support and supervision to a caseload of children in care.
> * Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
> * Work collaboratively with families, foster carers, and other professionals.
> * Advocate for the best interests of children and young people.
> * Support care leavers to achieve positive outcomes in education, employment, and independent living.
> * Contribute to the overall development and improvement of services for children in care and care leavers.
> * Mentor and support junior social workers.

> Requirements:
> * Qualified Social Worker (SW) with significant post-qualifying experience working with children in care.
