Mon - Thu 8.30am - 5pm
Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm

Experienced Children's Social Worker - experience across the child welfare system required. Extensive child protection and court experience essential.

This includes working in a strength-based way with children their families to ensure they are safe and able to thrive.

North Yorkshire Council has a defined practice model which is based on systemic principles, signs of safety and family seeing methodology.

Excellent communication skills, knowledge of child care legislation and the ability to work effectively with the child’s network, multi-agency partners and team colleagues essential.
