Pay rate £33.30 per hour
Contract role – Fostering, Support and Development Team

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Worker in Shropshire.
This is to work in a Fostering, Support and Development Team

• Being a member and team player of an established Support and development service.

• Having a good knowledge and experience working in accordance to Fostering regs, NMS standards. Understanding and able to ensure all compliance for foster parents is updated, recorded on LCS. Communicate and support foster parents with trauma informed understanding and therapeutic principles.

• To supervise foster carers ensuring all key areas of the role are discussed, recorded and challenged where necessary.

• To carry a case load of foster parents and complete all tasks in accordance to the role of SSW.

• To be able to be efficient recording fostering annual reviews and when required to present to panel. To attend team meetings and work as part of the team supporting others where necessary.

• To be part of a duty rota, supporting foster carers, completing viability assessments when required. Twice per month.

• We offer a hybrid-work at home policy with access to office space at the Guildhall building in Shrewsbury.( Foster parents live mainly in Shropshire County. Hybrid working approach. Ability to work more at home with occasional office presence.
