Children's Mental Health Support Worker

Randstad seeks a compassionate Mental Health Support Worker for children in Cumbria. Deliver tailored care plans, ensuring well-being and collaborating with families and professionals. Make a profound impact! Access to a car is essential for travel within Carlisle and the West Cumbria region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day support for children with mental health conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals.
  • Implement individualized care plans and monitor progress.
  • Offer emotional support, guidance, and practical assistance.
  • Maintain a safe environment, adhering to protocols and policies.
  • Maintain accurate care records.

Requirements:

  • 6+ months' experience in children's mental health.
  • PEG feeding experience or willing to attend the training
  • Long Day Shifts availability (minimum 48hrs/week).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Previous experience is essential.
  • Access to a car and willingness to travel within Carlisle and Cumbria.**
