CI Engineer

A CI Engineer is required for an FMCG manufacturing business in Manchester. The focus of the role is to support the embedding of continuous improvement as its own department within the business.

Description

As the CI Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Using data to identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency.
• Developing and monitoring key performance indicators to track progress and success.
• Leading and facilitating cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects.
• Providing training and guidance to staff on CI tools and methodologies.
• Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to align CI initiatives with business objectives.
• Reporting on project outcomes and recommending next steps for sustained improvements.

Profile

The successful CI Engineer should have:

• Proven experience in process improvement and operational efficiency within the FMCG sector.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• A proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
• A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
