Job Description - Claims Specialist - Life & Disability

We are recruiting for a client of ours, an established Insurance organisation, in recruiting for the Life and Disability insurance space as a Claims Specialist on a 2 year fixed-term contract. You’ll assess complex Life, Critical Illness, and Income Protection claims, support business development, and represent the company at client meetings and industry events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage life, CI, and IP claims within agreed limits.

  • Attend client meetings and support audits.

  • Contribute to process improvements and tenders.

  • Produce industry insights and share best practices.

What You’ll Bring:

  • CII Claims Diploma (or working towards it).

  • Proven experience in life and health claims.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Knowledge of the UK protection market and relevant regulations.
