Job Description - Class 1 Driver

HGV Driver Class 1- Days
Location – Sittingbourne
Assignment Type – Class 1 Driver

Rate:
Monday to Friday £16.45
Time and a half for Saturdays and double time Sundays. (Weekend work is on an ad hoc basis)

Role Information:
This is an ongoing role with a blue-chip company. The role involves delivering reels of paper and collection of waste.
No major physical labour involved. Just checking loads are strapped down correctly and driving.

Work always booked weekly in advance.
  • All rates are PAYE, with holiday pay accrued.
  • Average shifts are 12 hours.
  • Minimum of 8 hours pay
  • Shift patterns are Monday to Friday.
  • Long term ongoing work

You will possess the following
Category C+E on your license
Can do attitude
No DR’s, CD10’s, IN10’s – No more than 6 points
