Class 1 Drivers

Rapier Employment Ltd is hiring experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers
Location: Welham Green, Hertfordshire

Days and Nights
Flexible shift patterns and start times

DAY SHIFT RATES

Basic: £20.66/hour
Overtime: £27.89/hour
Bank Holidays: £61.98/hour
Plus holiday pay

NIGHT SHIFT RATES

Basic: £24.58/hour
Overtime: £31.81/hour
Bank Holidays: £61.98/hour
Plus holiday pay

Driver Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license held for at least 1 year
Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience
CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Understanding of Driver Hours, Regulations, and the Working Time Directive

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
Ensure timely delivery and collections
Conduct thorough vehicle checks (pre- and post-trip)
Maintain accurate delivery records and logs
Comply with all traffic laws and safety guidelines
Load and unload using roller cages when required
