Class 2 Drivers

Pay: £15 per hour
Shifts: 8-11 hours, various shifts
Start Times: Between 05:00 and 06:00
Work Type: Palletised deliveries, occasional handball, sometimes with a driver’s mate
Job Overview:
Rapier Employment is looking for reliable and experienced Class 2 Drivers to join our team in Northampton. You’ll be delivering goods to various locations, ensuring each delivery is made safely, efficiently, and professionally. This is a great opportunity for drivers who value flexibility and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
Follow planned delivery routes to multiple destinations
Complete vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
Accurately manage delivery paperwork
Comply with all transport and road safety regulations
Deliver excellent customer service
Report accidents, defects, or any issues promptly

Requirements:

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
CPC qualification
At least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience
No more than 3 points on licence (no major endorsements)
Strong understanding of road safety laws
Ability to work independently and manage your time
Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
Flexible and adaptable to changing shifts
