Class Teacher

Year 6 Teacher Required for 3 form entry Primary School in New Addington

About the role:

At Engage Education, we’re currently looking for a passionate upper key stage 2 teacher to work at a successful, forward-thinking primary school in New Addington to start on June 2nd until the end of the year with a view of staying permanent into next year.

You will become part of an enthusiastic team, working in a nurturing and academically-successful environment with outstanding facilities. The school is committed to developing both its pupils and staff to achieve their full potential. This role will take over a Y6 class after the SATs testing period has concluded and your main focus will be helping to prepare the cohort for a successful transition into secondary.

The ideal applicant will be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS
• Experienced in teaching KS2 children
• Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
• An outstanding teacher with a love of children and teaching
• Able to inspire and innovate in the classroom
