Job Description - Class Teacher KS2

Key Stage 2 Class Teacher - Stoke-on-Trent
Mainstream Primary School | Full-Time | Monday to Friday
32.5 Hours per Week | Term Time Only
Suitable for ECTs and Experienced Teachers

Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher looking for your next role in a supportive primary school? On behalf of a welcoming mainstream school in Stoke-on-Trent, we are recruiting for a KS2 Class Teacher who is committed to high-quality teaching and ensuring every child achieves their potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher ready to begin their journey-or for a more experienced practitioner seeking a new and rewarding challenge in a values-led environment.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the right to work in the UK
- Strong experience in Key Stage 2, including planning, assessment, and curriculum delivery
- A proven ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills, underpinned by consistency and empathy
- High expectations for all pupils, with a drive to raise achievement and standards
- A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and school leaders
- A commitment to inclusion and differentiated learning, ensuring every child makes progress
- Familiarity with national curriculum requirements and statutory assessments
