Class1 Tramper Driver

Velocity Recruitment are looking for Class1 Tramper Drivers on behalf of our Client in Durham.

Hour of work:

• Monday to Friday - 40-60 hours
• Weekends - 8-30 hours

Salary:

• Monday to Friday - £15.00 to 16.81 per hour
• Weekends - £18.00 per hour

The Role

• Dayshift
• General Haulage
• Curtainsiders
• Tramping (Sleeping in truck away from home)
• £25 Night Out Allowance non taxable
• 8 hour shifts guaranteed
• Permanent positions for the right candidate
• Long distance delivery of goods
• Delivery to depots throughout the country

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per operational procedures.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures
• To deliver and collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
• To complete all work related paperwork in full

Essential Skills

• Must have valid C+E on licence
• Must have Valid CPC and Digi Card
• Must have at least 60 days worth of driving on Digi Card
• No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance purposes
• NO DD, DR, IN and TT offence codes due to insurance purposes
