Classroom Assistant

Horizon Teachers are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school situated in the Greenford area of Ealing who are seeking an experienced Classroom Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous experience working with students with additional needs, ideally within a school setting. You will work closely with teachers, the SEND department, and other support staff to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive academically.

Responsibilities:

• Providing in-class support to students, particularly those with SEND
• Working 1:1 or in small groups to support learning and engagement
• Helping to implement education plans.
• Promoting a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel supported and valued

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with additional needs
• A patient, compassionate, and resilient attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for education and making a difference
