Job Description - Cleaner

Pertemps Recruitment Agency is proud to be representing a long-established and globally recognised organisation in the catering equipment and event services industry. Pay £13.36Ph 37.5 Hours Per Week 8:00 to 16:30. Due to the location candidates must have there own transport.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general cleaning of commercial catering equipment and modular kitchen units in preparation for engineering checks.
Prepare equipment components using dip tanks and sandblasting machines.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, keeping equipment ready for operational use.
Support other departments in the operations team as required, including occasional off-site work.
Adhere strictly to Health & Safety procedures and company working practices.
Report any damage or maintenance concerns to the team supervisor promptly.
Complete necessary documentation accurately and on time.
Take responsibility for the care and condition of PPE and tools provided.

Skills & Experience Required:

Ability to perform manual handling and physically active work – bending, twisting, stretching, and lifting are part of daily duties.
Strong team player with a positive attitude.
Able to work independently with good attention to detail.
Basic spoken and written English is essential.
Previous experience in a warehouse, cleaning, or industrial setting is advantageous but not essential.
