We are currently seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to join our team in Medway. This part-time, long-term ongoing position involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the school premises. The working hours are from 3 PM to 6 PM, ideal for those looking to contribute to the school community while maintaining a flexible schedule.

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming classrooms, corridors, and communal areas.
• Ensure bathrooms and changing rooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Empty and clean waste bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
• Maintain the cleanliness of windows and other glass surfaces.
• Follow health and safety regulations, using cleaning materials and equipment safely and effectively.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the school management.
• Assist in setting up event spaces or rearranging furniture as required.

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services, preferably within a school or similar environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and strength to perform manual tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
