Our client is seeking a dedicated Facilities Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety, while ensuring the building and its surroundings are well-maintained and secure.

• Supervise and undertake cleaning duties alongside domestic and agency staff to ensure all areas are tidy and sanitary.
• Monitor the condition of the building, furniture, and equipment, reporting any issues and coordinating major repairs with the Operations Manager.
• Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks including basic carpentry and plumbing, and changing light bulbs and plugs.
• Maintain building security, manage key holding responsibilities, and ensure proper functioning of security and fire alarm systems.
• Carry out various caretaker duties such as setting up furniture for meetings, maintaining equipment, and providing technical support for events.
• Conduct Health and Safety inspections, maintain records, and produce reports on necessary actions.
• Address and report any breaches of tenancy conditions or contractor non-compliance to management.
• Handle emergency situations, resolve problems and requests, and cover reception duties in the absence of management.

• Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of building maintenance, cleaning processes, and security systems.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing tasks across multiple sites.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
