Position: Clinical Pharmacist
Location: Private Hospital, Eastleigh
Contract: Minimum 3 months
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Salary: £38.00 per hour

Job Description:

Trident healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at a prestigious private hospital in Eastleigh. This role involves providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care across wards and the dispensary, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards and the dispensary.
• Conduct medication reviews and provide expert advice on the safe and effective use of medicines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans.
• Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and maintain proper documentation.
• Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Provide education and training to healthcare staff on pharmaceutical practices.
• Monitor and manage medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
