Are you a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role? We have an exciting opportunity for you in Gloucester!

Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7)
Location: NHS Hospital, Gloucester
Duration: Locum contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour break)
Start Date: April 2025
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £25 - £31 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our client's team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a key role in improving patient care within a hospital setting. In this role, you will:

• Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to medical staff on the surgical and medical wards

• Review and monitor patient medication regimes to ensure safe prescribing

• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and best practices

• Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

• Support dispensary duties and provide medication counselling as required

• Contribute to the development of patient care strategies
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid GPhC registration

• Proven experience as a Clinical Pharmacist, ideally within NHS hospital wards

• Experience in surgical and medical wards is desirable

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently

• Knowledge of current pharmaceutical practices and legislation

• Flexibility to work the specified hours
  
  

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexibility where possible. The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
