Cloud Architect

My client within the asset management space are seeking a cloud Architect to be part of their wider Infra, Ops, and Cloud Team.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Cloud Strategy & plan Cloud Adoption
• Assist with the change of Culture required to adopt a Cloud First approach and close management of costs in the cloud.
• Plan and deploy secure solutions in cloud technologies, working closely with the IT Security team to ensure compliance with Cyber Security controls.
• Ensure business requirements are assessed when delivering project work or work requests.

 Ideally you will have:

• Deep hands-on technical expertise in secure cloud solutions built in Azure and Microsoft 365, preferably in a financial services role.
• Experience working in a hands-on infrastructure & operations role.
• Technical understanding of security and compliance best practices in Azure solutions, and how to monitor ongoing compliance against baselines.
• Experience in designing and implementing technical solutions including all aspects thereof, i.e. network, server, desktop, operating system and applications.
• Experience of core networking infrastructure, particularly across Azure, ExpressRoute and on-premises datacentres.
