They are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to lead and deliver this cloud-first initiative.

Key Responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer:

  • Lead the implementation of a full migration from on-premise to Azure.
  • Deploy Azure-based infrastructure following best practices around security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • Set up robust CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows using Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams to define cloud strategies and standards.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and governance.
  • Ensure cloud environments are compliant with internal and external policies.
  • Outside of IR35

Required Skills & Experience from the Cloud Engineer:

  • Proven experience with greenfield cloud implementations and complex on-prem to Azure migrations.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, governance).
  • Strong background in DevOps practices, especially with Azure DevOps, pipelines, and automation.
  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud-native architecture.
