Temp to perm opportunity
£17 per hour with pay progression

Daily responsibilities include:

Prepare and configure CNC grinder machines according to engineering specifications, including loading programs, setting tools, and adjusting machine parameters.

Accurately read blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings to understand part specifications and grinding requirements.

Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers gauges) to inspect finished parts and ensure they meet tight tolerances and quality standards.

Continuously observe grinding processes, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance and part accuracy.

Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of machines and tooling and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime and ensure workplace safety.

Experience needed:

Minimum 2 years in a CNC grinder / turner capacity
Using a GER vertical grinding machine be able to program set and operate using a Fanuc control system
Be capable of reading drawings using various inspection equipment for holding tight tolerances on DIAs and faces
Be able to use slings/cranes to take parts on/off machines

Hours of work: 0700-1530 Monday to Friday
