Commercial & Contract Lead - 6 month contract via umbrella - Glasgow hybrid

One of Loriens leading Public Sector Clients are looking for a highly experienced Commercial & Contract Lead to join the team on an initial 6-month contract with possible 23 months extension.

Essential skills, competences, relevant qualifications and previous experience required:

1. Strong knowledge and experience in of the full end-to-end procurement process with clear working knowledge of public procurement legislation and sustainable procurement requirements (including community benefits).
2. Proven track record in the successful delivery of complex high-value / high-risk procurement projects and programmes, along with proven management and organisational skills, including the ability to balance competing demands.
3. Proven track record in supporting the review and summary of existing contracts, supporting internal "technical" leads with reviewing scope of existing contracts and leading the drafting of a contract specification.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral), with experience of building strong productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
