Commercial Director

We are partnering exclusively with a well known FMCG company in their search for a Commercial Director. This is a 6 month temporary contract based in Central London offering hybrid working and a day rate of between £800 to £1200 per day PAYE depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to have an instant impact in a role with a focus on growth and leadership.

As the Commercial Director, your key responsibilities will be:

• To lead the commercial growth strategy with an ownership of the P&L across UK & Ireland
• Accelerating penetration & conversion in high growth segments while expanding presence
• Leading and developing cross-functional team, account management, customer development and operational execution
• Driving innovation with a strong understanding of culinary, category and technical needs
• Shaping strategic decisions and connecting local success to the company's global agenda

What you will need to be successful:

• Significant leadership experience across food service, B2B FMCG is essential
• Expertise in multiple route-to-route market channels, with a strong grasp of wholesale environments and industrial manufacturing processes
• Strong track record of commercial delivery against growth plans coupled with margin improvement experience
• Strong leadership with a passion for developing people
• Strategic agility with long term thinking and ensuring day-to-day execution
