SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a business on a 12-month FTC in Leicester. The Finance Analyst will be reporting to the Head of Finance & make part of a large, well ran finance department. The purpose of this role is to improve commerciality and financial understanding and to ensure accountability for budgetary control. This is a fantastic time to join our client with several growth plans & exciting projects taking place. The position is initially a 12-month FTC with a great chance of turning permanent following a successful 12 month period.

The ideal Commercial Finance Analyst will be immediately available, a qualified accountant with strong IT, Excel & analytical skills.

Key responsibilities include:

- Interpretation and validation of the monthly results delivering results on financial performance and KPIs.
- To provide valuable analysis to influence the decision-making process and support in the delivery of strategic initiatives.
- To identify areas of concern, emerging trends and opportunities and to present this information in a logical and compelling way.
- Provide insightful reporting where required to the wider business
- Provides analytical support including but not limited to profitability analysis, business review presentations and other sales or marketing analysis requests
- Works independently and cross functionally to provide detailed, accurate and timely reporting

You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA or equivalent) with excellent analytical and business partnering skills.
