Commercial Finance (Interim - 3 Months)

Location: Rochdale (Hybrid - 3 days per week, first week fully in office)

Day Rate / Salary: Equivalent to £60k per annum

Start Date: Monday

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a well-established business on a 3-month interim basis. This role will provide additional support to the finance team during a period of absence, assist with upcoming audit preparation, and deliver ad-hoc commercial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support purely commercial finance activities, providing insightful analysis and commentary.

• Refresh and maintain Power BI dashboards and utilise Power Query to manipulate and interrogate data.

• Review management reports and compile meaningful commentary for stakeholders.

• Contribute to the production of monthly management packs.

• Assist with audit preparation and ad-hoc financial analysis.

• Support packaging tax-related work and other data-driven projects.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Finance Business Partner or similar senior finance role.

• Strong Power BI and Power Query skills.

• Excellent analytical and data interpretation capabilities.

• Confident in preparing commentary and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.

• Able to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
