Commercial Lawyer - 12 month FTC

Our client are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer (appx. 4+ PQE) to join an international financial services organisation on a 12 month FTC, providing expert legal advice and strategies. The ideal candidate will have worked within the financial services sector previously and have the ability to work independently on a number of contractual matters.

Description

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Providing expert legal advice on insurance / re-insurance and wider financial services matters including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a variety of commercial contracts
• Developing legal strategies to protect the company's interests
• Ensuring legal compliance
• Liaising and manage external legal counsel as needed
• Participating in internal meetings to provide legal guidance with stakeholders
• Assisting in dispute resolution procedures as needed
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in insurance & re-insurance laws and regulations

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• 4+ PQE, qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales
• Extensive knowledge independently handling a variety of commercial contracts, with prior experience in the financial services sector
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to commute into London 3 days per week

Job Offer

• Salary appx. £70,000 to £100,000 depending on candidate experience

• Hybrid working 3 days per week in central London
