Commercial Lawyer/Contracts Manager 8-week contract

A global leader in research and manufacturing is looking for a commercial lawyer or contracts manager on a short-term assignment for a pre-planned cover. The assignment is based in Oxford (hybrid) and is expected to last around 8 weeks from mid-June. This is a great opportunity for a junior lawyer or experienced paralegal to work at an exciting and innovative company.
Reporting into the Legal Director, you will be working with the Group legal team to review, draft and negotiate a range of EMEA and UK commercial contracts, as well as support with document review and research. It is a busy period within the business, and you will be expected to contribute and take initiative from day one.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of commercial contracts, including NDAs, sales and supply agreements. Ideally, you will be 0-3 PQE, but strong paralegals with at least 3 years of in-house experience are encouraged to apply. You may also assist the business with internal and external audits, so previous experience in this area would be beneficial but not essential. As it is a short-term assignment, the team requires someone who can hit the ground running and get to work, with support from the legal team.

Alongside a day rate of £280-£340 (there is potential for flexibility on this), you will also enjoy a hybrid working arrangement with 2-3 days in the office each week.
